I have not attempted to open CPU to look inside. I finally found the above listed driver, listed on the subject title. In frustration and after an intensive long search for the correct driver, I kept trying the different drivers from DriverGuide. Only diffrence is, I can hear sound but my microphone does not work. Download this patch only if the Autorun or Autoplay feature is disabled; there is no need to download it otherwise.

If you have a voice modem you need to delete all sound drivers in device manager and let the system find them on reboot – ie the sound card drivers should be installed sp the voice modem drivers I have found from experiance. I have the same soundcard. If for some reason, you need to reinstall Disc Detector, run this patch again.

THe WDM drivers work best, just go into the sound card setup Creative Mixer and make sure you have everything selected properly and lines to your sound system appropriately plugged.

Sorry, there was a problem flagging this post. When Disc Detector is installed in your computer, the Ez1373 or Autoplay feature in Windows may become disabled.

I tried what you said, found 4 drivers, but none of them worked. I could not find a “wave out” as suggested. If yes did u deactivate it? I was told it was the driver for my sound x. I have not attempted to open CPU to look inside.
I think it plays Audic CDs too.
